AMA, Blue Ribbon Coalition, Others Seek Answers Regarding Derogatory U.S. Forest Service Trail Guide

The AMA, Blue Ribbon Coalition and other groups are seeking answers regarding a U.S. Forest Service publication that blames off-road vehicles for an “increase in frequency and intensity of weather events.” The publication, 318-page guide titled, “A Comprehensive Framework for Off-Highway Vehicle Trail Maintenance,” was released in January and posted on the USFS website. However, the document was quickly pulled from the Web site following protests from the OHV community about offensive language.
