It’s 1972, the height of the cold war and the height of the snowmobile boom. You’re a crazy dude. What do you do? Get a bunch of Moto Skis and attempt to ride to Moscow with a few of your buddies. That’s the true life story of Wild Bill’s Run, a film by Mike Scholtz. Apart from the sheer craziness of the story line, the film is well-made and compelling and well worth the trip to the Free Range Film Festival July 27. In fact, the film recently won Best Documentary Feature at the Seattle True Independent Film Festival. To add to the experience the films airing in the festival will all screen inside a nearly 100-year-old barn.
