Lake Geneva, Wisc. (March 20, 2011) – Ross Martin ended the season on a perfect note winning both heat races and running away with the AMSOIL Pro Open final in front of his hometown fans at the Nielsen Enterprises Grand Finale in Lake Geneva, Wisc. Martin was able to gain one point on rival Tucker Hibbert in the qualifying rounds, but the Monster Energy/Arctic Cat rider had all but sewn up the AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series Season Points Championship title by taking the start in the main. Martin didn’t let that knowledge hold him back and went to work on his Jack Link’s/AMSOIL/Polaris, leaving little doubt that he is capable of besting the champ on any given day.

sledRacer.com Does The Duluth National

The Duluth track sent riders around the track clockwise instead of counter-clockwise as in years past.
What a difference a year makes. Last year the Duluth National Snocross was delayed because temperatures leading up to the race were too warm to make enough snow. This year? The snow piles were so high the crowd had trouble seeing over them. Plus, the Duluth area had at least 6-8 inches of natural snowfall leading up to the race. It made for a white thanksgiving as well as for a really sweet race weekend.
We spent two days at Duluth prowling the pits and checking out the racing. The way Duluth goes you could spent a week there and not see and do everything, but here are a bunch of photos that we hope will make you feel like you were there. Read on as sledRacer takes you on a journey to the Duluth National Snocross.
Prepare For Takeoff
Team Arctic racers Cody Thomsen (left) and Dan Ebert, make final preparations before heading out to the ISOC/ACSS Western Nationals in Sandy, Utah this weekend. The event will mark ISOC’s first foray into the state whose license plate once read ” The Greatest Snow on Earth.”

Cody Thomsen sits on the buggy while Dan Ebert spins wrenches in the Ebert shop in Lake Shore, Minn. Don't go looking for it because you'd never find it.
