It’s funny how life works sometimes. One moment you feel that you’re on top of the world, and next thing you know, a hard dose of reality punches you in the gut.
Meet Garrett Goodwin, a 19-year-old teenager and an engineering student at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Mich., who had dedicated his life to snowmobile racing. Every winter since he was five years old, Garrett and his dad would travel across the country to compete in snow cross (a/k/a/ “snocross”) events.
